Let me Tell You of My Faith
My Knees are Wobbly. Humbled by My Trespasses,
I Bow Low; Still, My Knees Shake–
I am Seized with Anxieties, Worries. Humbled Again,
I Fall unto My Knees. With Confidence and Pride,
I Lift My Head and Heart Upwards. In Time, though, My Worldly Strength Wanes–
I Grow Weary and My Body Quivers. I Sink Further,
I Lay Prostrate upon the Sacred Ground. Still, My Dark Shadow
Won’t Concede its Final Fear.
